That they are! They're spoiled feathered brats. lol. I've been trying, since I started this project to get a male cardinal and a blue jay in the same shot just so I can have a red and blue COLOR palette. And, I hope you punched breathing holes in the package. :)

Random, I'm on the United States Postal Service website trying to see how long things take to ship internationally because I get like a kid in a candy store when it comes to getting things in the mail. Dorky, I know. I can't find what I want,but there is a nice long section about not shipping hazardous material internationally.

Thanks! That's sad that you don't have colorful birds in New Zealand. I'm sure I'd still find them fascinating. I'm tired of looking at American birds. :)
