Apparently I'm addicted to photographing birds, I just can't stop. My plan for today was to do some research on "high key" photography and maybe make an attempt or two at it. And, also to work on my "Get Pushed" challenge of black and white portrait. What do I do instead? Photograph birds.
I have done no editing to this mourning dove shot.
I'm giving more and more consideration to "stealing" @joa 's February challenge of "friends photography" meaning that I would take photos of whatever is suggested by my followers here. Anyone got any ideas?
@rosiekind
Thanks so much Rosie! I agree that we're not the only ones, but I feel like I must be getting boring to most of my followers who aren't bird nerds.
Well, there's nothing wrong with photographing birds...they ROCK! They are extremely difficult to capture in focus, they move very quickly, so if you get a good shot then you are an amazing photographer! Yes, by now you have figured out that I also photograph a lot of birds...I too am an addict :) The dove knows...don't fight it...
I like your bird shots and this one has such a surprised expression, it's funny. But for ideas, as I look at your work, you don't seem to do a lot of abstracts but the few you have show you have a good eye for them. Just a thought...
@kimmer50
You're right, there is nothing wrong with photographing birds. I guess I was just trying to prevent burn out, for myself and those who view my photos. But, I'm sure birds and squirrels will still be a HUGE Part of my project. Thanks Kim!
@taffy
Thanks for the suggestion Taffy! You're right, I don't do a lot of abstracts because it's honestly hard for me to wrap my head around them. I'm much more of a concrete person, but I will keep them in mind to explore more.
@nanalisarocks
Maybe I bored you into deletion, I know I've almost bored myself into deletion many times since I started. :) Thanks for the re-follow. Let me know when you work out a 12 step program.
Yeah because I haven't already worked that photo to death. :)

Thanks!
Thanks Meagan!
