I've been away visiting family, without my camera. Apparently my camera did not appreciate my absence because it did NOT want to focus today. I took another picture, of a bird, in a spot that I've taken many times before and it just looks like black bokeh. Not sure what's going on. Maybe the lens needs cleaning again.
Editing for this shot consisted of Ribbet's sepia effect which was done because the background was really blown out even though it's cloudy today.

@mej2011 Well, people you know are a different matter. I don't shoot people, either, but I do take pics of my family. I just don't post them - except a few funny ones of my niece. But my brother, for example, would never want his pic to be posted anywhere, so the shots I get of him are just for practice and for my own album.
And yes, next time. You need to always have your camera on the ready! :D

You're right, yesterday I saw an Indigo Bunting (bird) and I didn't have my camera. I've not seen it again. :(
@mej2011 Yes, but the thing is, 365 gives you the chance to pick one shot out of the many you take during a day. One gem, lots of practice! :) Besides, if you only do 365 shots, photography will seem like a chore. Or, that's how it would feel to me anyway. I've got to have some photos taken just for my own purposes. :)
@mej2011 So, go out and shoot something silly for a change. :D (I'm so looking forward to about the 10th of May, when I've finally shot 365 consecutive days of shots and I can start using fillers, if I feel like it. :D)
@mej2011 I'm so stupidly stubborn that I am really annoyed at myself for using that one single filler I used during my first year. I could've shot something new. I could've made a full year without any fillers, I know it. And now, in fact, I'm a week away from that happening.
