I've never been good at this whole "photo a day concept". If you look through my project you will see TONS of empty spaces and yet I keep trying. Maybe this will be the year I actually take/post one photo each day. One can hope, right?
For Christmas I received a photography book "Lab:Creative Photography:52 fun exercises for developing self expression with your camera." I thought I would start with these labs on January 1st and at least have 1 photo a week taken care of. But, in true Melissa style, my camera battery is pretty dead today, so I will start the challenges tomorrow.

Thanks Taffy! I've decided that I'm pretty fascinated with the lighting aspects of photography. Now to figure out how to achieve good results with the equipment (camera) that I have. Good luck to you as well on this upcoming year!
