Have I mentioned that I hate manual mode? No?
Well, I hate manual mode. I have this strange, irrational fear of getting the photo "wrong" in manual mode (silly, I know), so I generally stay close to my trusty pre-settings. But, today I decided to give it ago.
This was the best of the shots I took. Anyone have any comments/critiques?
A tip of my own: making sure your memory card is in the camera helps A LOT.

Thanks for commenting! This was taken through glass, but the majority of my outdoor shots have always been through glass so I don't know why I feel like they are worse lately. Can contrast be controlled in camera?
@mej2011 contrast can be controlled in camera to some extent, but I think you need stronger tools for this shot. Window glare is tricky, it all depends on the time of day, how cloudy it is etc. ...
