My partner for "Get Pushed 93", @blueberry1222 asked me to do a portrait of a stranger in black and white.
Editing consisted of converting to black and white via Ribbet. Posting on an earlier date since I already posted a shot for today, but this was taken today (May 4th).
@bobfoto
I can't do portraits, I just can't. I feel so uneasy myself in front of the lens, it makes it incredibly hard for me to put someone else in that position.
@mej2011 - Au contraire, it is always easier to photographs others rather than appear in a shot one's self. Taking shots of a stranger is trickier though. I have noticed though, that kids on motorbikes do like to show off if they see the camera, so be open and brave with your new camera and make over the top gestures towards the motorbike kids pretending to take their shots. If they ham it up, then get one to stop and take his/her photo and say you'll give 'em a copy or two. Maybe you'll get your stranger shot that way?
Here is my attempt. Thanks for the challenge!

Thanks for the advice, I will give it a shot (no pun intended)
