The Mill River

Walking home from the auto mechanic's shop, I pass over the Mill River. The little river is surrounded by industrial buildings and roadways.

@anniesue No, the picture doesn't tell the story. What you see is pretty much all there is of the river bank. Everything else is asphalt except for that narrow corridor.

@narayani There is life in there surprisingly enough. Some desperate wrens and redwing blackbirds were nesting there in the phragmites and I thought I saw a turtle a few weeks ago.
