Luckily we made it home before this one hit. Torrential rain hit shortly after we pulled in. The gutters overflowed and the back lawn was underwater but nothing came into the house. The local shopping centre wasn't so lucky. When we went down over an hour later they were still mopping up water in shops and in the maim mall and machinery had been called in to help.
