We had a full day planned, Graham's Rotary club Christmas lunch at a local brewery, pick up the grandies on the way home, then head to Rockingham Beach for the Christmas Festival and a dinner in the park.
It was quite warm when got to the brewery and little while after we'd eaten I started to feel a bit off colour. Some friends were helping me to get to a cooler area and I passed out - not a good look at a brewery and only one glass of cider had been consumed followed by copious amounts of water. People rushed over to look after me including a couple of nurses who were worried about my heart rate. An ambulance was called and was carted off to hospital( My first and hopefully last trip in an ambulance). Three hours later, after blood tests, ECGs and BP monitoring I was given the all clear and allowed to leave.
I was sure that everything was ok as I've had similar experiences before, but I've always managed to get things under control without actually passing out.
We still picked up the girls but plans for attending the festival went out the window.
After the day's dramas, this is my meagre attempt at a flatlay to mark the day's events besides which, it was too late and I didn't have the energy to go in search of something else to photograph.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie, Graham and I were fine because it's happened before but to a lesser degree and not for a long time. Everyone else was worried. My concern was that people might have thought that I'd had too much to drink😂
