Lake Argyle DSC_6104

Lake Argyle was formed by the damming of the Ord River in 1971. It is Australia's largest body of fresh water. The lake is classed as an inland sea, covering over 1,000 square kilometres.
We had hoped to go for a cruise, but unfortunately it was booked. Hopefully we'll get a chance to book one next week.
This looks so calm and beautiful ...amazing shades of blue!

This sure reminds me of our trip there. It is so vast, it is hard to fathom.
