This morning we were woken by a thunder storm and torrential rain. Heavy rain continued on and off for most of the morning. Between showers I ventured out into the garden around the villa. There are several gorgeous frangipanis. The rain had knocked lots of flowers off. This one had been washed off of the path and was caught up in the grass.
They are such pretty flowers that almost look unreal. I have a hair clip with a pretend flower like this from Mauritius that looks very convincing! It is a shame to see them discarded by the rain.
