Today marks the start of a very busy weekend. On Sunday, Palm Beach Rotary Club (my husband's club) is hosting the Rockingham Beach Cup and Community Arts Festival. It is the first, beach, horse racing event to be held in Western Australia.
We spent a this morning at Rockingham Beach, helping with the initial set up. This excavator was driven along the beach to move the mobile bar into place, before the marquee could be set up. Tomorrow, we'll be setting up for the Arts Festival.

Should be interesting Merrelyn. Should be good photo opportunities if you can get a clear spot..Nice shot. ( You might be able to get someone to put a chair on the excavator and raise you up for a birds eye view !!!)
