One Of My Favourite Flowering Gums_DSC4477

I don't what variety it is, but I like every stage of the flower and seed development on this gum tree. As the flowers get closer to opening, the caps change to a vibrant red, which looks beautiful with the bright yellow flowers. The gumnuts are quite large and have a really interesting shape.
