A storm cell hit early this morning and the day has been pretty wet and windy. I took advantage of a break in the weather, before we packed up this morning. This heron was fishing in the creek behind the caravan park. I followed it for a little while and managed to get a couple of shots.
We started having problems with our car battery, yesterday and it died completely when we stopped to check into the caravan park at Warrnambool. Luckily the car is booked in for a service tomorrow and the dealership is only a couple of blocks away.
Wonderful capture! I find it so difficult to get good shots of these birds. Well done, Merrelyn! I hope you get your car serviced and everything working properly again. Car problems are such a headache...especially when travelling. :-(
