We crossed the International Date line on our flight from from Vancouver to Auckland so we completely missed 16th October. I chose to leave my camera set on Vancouver time when we first arrived so that I could get a couple of shots with a 16th October date stamp.
Even though it’s a bit cool and grey I enjoyed walking along the beach near our accommodation in Orewa
Looks like a beautiful homecoming! I, too, don't change the time for about a week when I've made a long trip. I need to know why I need a nap at 1 in the afternoon!
@julzmaioro We’re only in a Orewa tonight, heading to the Bay of Islands tomorrow for 3 nights then back to an airport hotel before flying out home on 22nd 😊
