Point Peron is my "happy place" and today, I felt the need for a visit. We're both fine but I struggle with being cooped up at home all day. The Point is only a 10 minute drive from home so it's well within our regional boundary. I was surprised by the number of cars out there this afternoon. While we we're walking, we saw a couple of family groups with children and a few couples walking or jogging but they were all maintaining an appropriate distance.
It is quite precariously balanced. I don't mind being at home but still have to see the ocean regularly, luckily we can walk to the beach. Not able to get to my favourite beach at Birubi though now as the road is blocked off. I will have to find a way to drive to a nearby beach from there and walk.
