I was surprised to see a couple of night herons on the Palm Beach jetty when we went for a walk yesterday. I didn't have my camera with me, so we went back this evening to see if they'd returned. One of the fishermen told me that they are regular visitors. The fishermen throw some of their unwanted fish onto the jetty for them. After scoring a free meal, they flew away.
@joansmor It played around with the fish for a while Joan and I was beginning think that it wouldn't be able to swallow it, then in the blink of an eye it was gone :)
