We caught the train to Perth to check out the Travel Expo. It was chaotic, so we just grabbed a few brochures and beat a hasty retreat.
The rain held off just long enough for us a to get in a quick walk around Elizabeth Quay. I actually enjoyed wandering around without being weighed down by camera and I think my phone did a reasonable job.

Well done with your phone, gives a good idea of that part of Perth. I tried to go to a local travel expo a couple of months back, held at the local AFL ground with scads of parking and every darned bit of full. So I went home again.

@summerfield That would be great Vikki. We’re flying into Vancouver for a tour through the Rockies and an Inside Passage cruise before heading to east coast for a couple weeks, flying into Montreal on 24th September and probably training to Quebec City on 27 Sept for a few days. From there we’ll work our way down to Toronto for a few days before flying back to Vancouver on 12 October. I really should start to work out where to go and what to do in between but I not a great “planner” and there are so many choices. Of course we have to go to Niagara but any suggestions would be most welcome.
