@narayani No, I tried and rapidly ran out of it, so I cheated and glued them 🤣

Excellent for shape and so creative.
February 9th, 2022
Well that's clever! How did you get them to balance???
February 9th, 2022
@jyokota I tried balancing them, but it was too difficult so I laid them flat and glued them, then balanced the glued triangle onto the also glued base :)

Wow caught my eye, such impact. Clever how you done that. As a newby how did you then create the reflections?
February 10th, 2022
@mirroroflife I set this up on a piece of black Perspex which I put in front of a black blind to stop any unwanted reflections. Before I had the blind I used black card behind the Perspex. I’ve tried using a mirror for reflection shots but I get better results with Perspex, the only problem is that it scratches very easily and then you have to spend time editing out the scratches. You also need to set up your camera up on a tripod and underexpose the shot to keep the background dark.

Thanks I'd like to try it, great effect. The blind did you set that up behind where you glued the lollies
February 11th, 2022
Yes. I push the edge of the perspex up to the blind. I try to keep whatever I'm photographing at least 30cm in front of the blind.
