The building that my husband used to own and was the location for his used bookstore business was torn down today. Now it is impossible to make a living selling used books in most locations.
We have one in our area that has always managed to do well. I’ve always thought they underpaid when I would sell books to them, but I guess that’s why they do well. I’m sure it’s hard for your husband to see this.
End of an era, indeed. I have even sadly noticed that there are less and less books on the shelves in our library. More DVD's, CD's, and computers, but less books.
