Meet our Mourning Dove couple. This is not the first time I've seen a pair of Mourning Doves hanging out on our roof. I just wonder if it's the same pair that I have been seeing for a couple of years now. Last year there were even a family of four that we would watch hanging around our yard.
Just look at these beauties. She is clearly flattering him with sweet, adoring words about how shiny his feathers are, and he has puffed out his chest with pride.
