In Freeze Mode

Caught me looking - went into freeze (invisible he thinks) mode.
If I stand perfectly still maybe she won't see me! lol My dog (J) thinks if he crouches low to the ground as he comes upon a group of deer, somehow they won't notice him coming! lol Ummm, that's not how it works, J!!!

Lovely shot Milanie. We don't get squirrels in Oz so I always find them very cute.

@sunnygreenwood We use to have the gray squirrels - and you'll still find them occasionally, but it's becoming quite rare.

Erm, 'scuse me Mr. Squirrel, I hate to tell you this but I don't think you're quite pulling off the camouflage here!
Cute and fun capture.

Nice close up. Your squirrels are so golden and brown compared to our variety. Ours are whiter and more grey to blend into the snow better probably.

@falcon11 I had never thought about that, but now that you mention it, it sure makes sense - these reddish squirrels blend very well into their surroundings - better than the grey ones would do here. We have a few, but very few, of the grey ones here anymore.
