@terryliv Yes, this is an example of hoar frost - notice the longer length and separate strands. When the weather guys say below freezing in the morning, I always hope it's with no wind so we can get some frost! A reason to get up so early.
Mother Nature has done a splendid job of etching the edge of this leaf with an extra dose of hoar frost. So pretty! Nicely composed, with the leaf at a bit of a jaunty angle.
