Check Out That Hole

Picture quality leaves much to wish for, but had to share the size of the hole this pileated woodpecker has made in the utility pole. Think he's fixing himself a nice home!

cool bird, great shot. i usually see a pileated around her each winter but haven't seen one close by yet.
