This is the larger of the two doves we see around here - a Eurasian Collared Dove. They're usually more jittery about having people around.
I will be gone for 4 days (first trip in several years - since my husband's stroke) to a wedding in Missouri. I've shot ahead so hope to be posting daily - not so sure of being able to comment, but will try to catch up when we return.
@gilbertwood Well, my camera will be with me, that's for sure. In fact, I've loaned the bride's mom (my best friend) my little pocket camera so we can both take some candids at the rehearsal, dinner, wedding (at least me I hope) and reception. We'll see what happens.!
