Hadn't seen any mockingbirds for several weeks - know they don't migrate - guess they were just laying low from the heat.

Nice capture, Milanie. I love the mockingbirds, although we rarely see them at our feeders since they prefer to eat bugs and fruit. Since our elderberries are plentiful right now, we are watching for them to show up. It is such a thrill to see them!
