Blanchard Springs is a gorgeous year round spring gushing from the base of the mountain and is where the Blanchard Springs caverns get their name. The spring is the headwaters for beautiful Mill Creek which with the help of underground springs create Mirror Lake which surges over a man made dam resulting in a spectacular waterfall. Wish I had brought my tripod. We didn't go into the Caverns (had many years ago) but they are really fabulous.
