Wonderful! I love flickers, and we don't see them all that often around here. When we do, we're thrilled. It's always a treat to see the flash of yellow when they fly!
Nice catch! Saw ours a few days ago when he ran into the window. First time I've noticed a flicker doing that... I hate it, but happens despite what we do. He did fly off so hopefully ok.
@slash We've had two hard hits by cardinals lately - but both finally flew off - have tried several things to keep them from doing that but haven't been real successful yet.
