Matching the Eye to the Sky

This nicely fluffed up dove stayed quite a while - time to get the camera from the other room - like how that sky brings out the blue of their eyes.

That blue eye matching the sky is the first thing I noticed about this pretty image. I love the doves with their soft colors and gentle nature. We don't see too many of them...just enough to enjoy their pleasant company and unmistakable coo.
