Aww, looks like the little one wanted to be friends and the Pelican thought not! It must be so fun to watch the Pelican activity as often as you do. So much can be learned by simply observing. I really enjoy your Pelican shots. Keep 'em coming.
@thimblelady Actually, that's the way most of those cormorant look to me. Usually don't get to see them - I open the car door and they take off - and I'm not even near the river yet.
