I hadn't planned to post this but - learned some exciting news today. Last fall the head of our local Main Street Project asked I I'd take a picture of the Depot Museum and include the new Civil War marker so she could use it in a presentation to the City Council. She called again last month and asked if she could submit it in my name for the Chamber of Commerce contest. Found out today it won and would be used for the next year in all state-wide advertising for our town as well as on the plaques given to any new businesses that join the Chamber of Commerce. When she asked if she could submit a picture of mine, I had no clue which she was talking about, but I always ok the local paper so didn't have a problem with it. Was pretty tickled.
Congratulations! I am so happy for you! What an honor. I can see why you won. Your image is just beautiful with the pretty light and shadows and the wonderful composition. Looks like a charming town. Very exciting!
