Finally - One Stayed Still

The Scissor-Tailed Flycatchers have been really hard to capture this spring - either too high on a wire or too jumpy to stay still. This one obliged - almost looks like he's posing. Hopefully, tomorrow will be Day 1 of something more normal now that the Clean-Out Part 1 is over!

The light is perfect on this beauty. Love his long tail! Our scissor tails are black/grey and so fast, would love to catch one in just one photo!
