My friend took me to an Amish community near Columbia to buy vegetables and bread - and got to see a young boy (couldn't have been over 10) driving the wagon back from the fields and securing the horses - you can see the Amish buggy in the barn behind them. Didn't feel comfortable taking pictures of the kids, but felt the horses were ok. We were given a flashlight to help see the breads in the dark rock building. Kind of neat. (The breads were delicious!)
