Made it up to Massachusetts to visit with my college roommate - not a whole lot of color yet (too early - but still pretty). Didn't pick a great week (last week) with the hurricane winds and so much rain - light but still rain.
Oh wow! If this is what you see when you're too early for the autumn colors, I can't begin to imagine what it must be light to be "on time". Gorgeous photo.
We have had a strange fall. It was cool in August and after a few cold nights color sprouted in several trees. But then summer returned with a vengeance and the color change slowed to a stand still. Hoping to see a change soon. Finally cooling off over the next week. Weather is one thing that you can't predict for a vacation.
