This posting was one for me to remember an experience. Petit Jean has lots of trails up and down the mountain - and not always real well marked. I was headed for (I thought) a short trail to Rock Cave - after 20 minutes I decided I missed the turn but kept on this trail for about an hour before I decided I'd better go back the way I came as I had no idea where this one was going! Darn good thing I'd brought my hiking stick today - and there was one spot the only way I could get down that rock (safely) was on my bottom. So I did. It was really a fun adventure.
