The Bluejay rarely stays put long enough for me to get a shot - he's got to be the champion of touch down and head back off. And he even hit an unobstructed branch. Lucky me.
I know what you mean...I put peanuts out for the blue jays. They fly in and grab them, sometimes without even landing...looks like a military operation!
@amyk That's an excellent description - I put 5 out the other day and watched him get all 5 - never stopped long enough on any of the trips for me to get focused even though I knew where he would be :)
