Each day - in spite of the non-springlike weather - I'm seeing a few different spring flowers in bloom. This is called False Garlic - not liking garlic, I don't get the connection - it's related to onions, but no odor at all.
I wonder if this is similar to our wild garlic, or Ramsoms. As you say not really a garlic but related to chives. The leaves have a certain smell....:-) Lovely close up and I like your framing.
