I don't think I'd ever looked at the big magnolia tree after it bloomed - had noticed the buds before, but not after - really quite interesting. Shows nicely on black.
Great minds run together! I posted a Magnolia fruit today too. Ha. They will start falling from my tree soon! Be careful around the tree if you have high winds, these fruits fall like bombs when they start dropping their seeds.
Super capture. The squirrels are going crazy going after the ones on the trees here. It almost sounds like rain, as they are sitting up there tearing into them. And then they drop the whole thing. Just don't look up.
