This pinecone almost looked waxed, though really it was just thoroughly soaked from all the rain. There is a tiny critter crawling out that I never noticed until I looked at it on the computer. Wish I had noticed it earlier and I would have waited to see what it was.

I don't know what that is , but these little insecty things that suddenly pop into view like this all belong to the sub-species Fameseeker Grandi-poser ;-)
