There's a story here. This is less than 1/4 mile from the housing addition where I live and I'm on my walking trail early in the morning. I'm trying out a friend's new camera (a girl I had taught many years ago) and had just put the zoom lens on. I'm thinking this weight wouldn't be too bad if there was any wildlife necessitating it - but here?? Out of the corner of my eye- running along the softball field fence line I see this deer. He runs down to the trail - I whip the camera around and start shooting. Thank goodness for that camera! Got 5 good shots before he reached the far end. Fun!
