One of the strangest looking flowers I've seen - these passion flowers are coming up in odd places along the walking trail and in several colors, this light purple, a blue, and a white. Last year was the first time I'd ever noticed them.
I haven't seen one but, even in photos, I think they look weird and wonderful and I hope I get to see a passionflower some day! Yours is a great shot with great details, I love the crazy frilly lines and showy shapes and colors! 8)
