As an added bonus to the many things I'm learning on this site is the names of new plants. This is a seedbox and cardinal plant - liked the colors together down in what should have been a little stream. That's a drop of milky sap off the ends there.

I like the two colors together and the contrasting shapes as well. We have cardinal flowers at my mother's pond, but the seedbox is a new one for me.
