8-29 zebra swallowtail

Went to Mt. Magazine today (Arkansas's highest point and about 45 minutes from home) for a picnic before Isaac's rains come. Not a whole lot of wildlife around but got some nice hummingbird shots at the Visitor's Center and this Zebra Swallowtail. It was a toss up which to post. This won because I hadn't seen one lately. This was the only tiny patch of butterfly weed left up there and it was popular.
Gorgeous! Beautiful detail and focus as well.

Beautifully done!
We only get to see these lovely butterflies of yours in specially built and supplied butterfly houses. It must be wonderful to have the pleasure of looking out for them and spotting them in their natural habitat.
