When I cropped this blue darner (only change) because I wanted to see his head better, he could scare me if I didn't know he was really small. Looks more like something out of Star Trek! Really noticeable when viewed large.
@falcon11 Yes, Allison, we've had several showers - I wouldn't go so far as to call them rains, but they have certainly helped things to turn green again. Keeping my fingers crossed they continue so that maybe we'll have some fall color.

He does look like something from Star Trek. Quite a few sc-fi aliens seem to have been based on close ups of insects.
