Had too much shopping today to enjoy the fall colors, so stopped by "the duck pond" to see what was up. Looks like they're making friends. Fairly windy all day as you can see by the water.
What a great shot! i saw a few ducks with this hairdo a few weeks ago and thought What happened to his Hair!! I was told by another photographer there that the ducks were breeding with different type ducks and that is why they ended up with the crazy doo! Is that true!?? lol! Either way this is wonderful...:)

I can never quite get used to seeing a crest on a duck - it's a bit like looking at a very obvious toupee. ;-)
