Had to include this one as my 2nd filler for the 2 years I've finished. No more blanks dates. This immature cooper's hawk stayed quite a while - from tree to ground (stood facing the fence - not going to catch much that way!) then finally flew up on the fence. Fun to watch but he has much to learn.
Well...he's in the right area for a hawk that likes to eat small songbirds...surprised you had so many on your feeder with him around...maybe they knew he was inexperienced.
