This shot this afternoon of the japonica reminded me of a watercolor painting or perhaps a Japanese silk wall hanging. Liked the touch of color on an otherwise gloomy day.
This is so beautiful. Newport, RI is having an oriental themed flower show in June and this would be perfect for the photography category called "flowering branch." I love the watery background and the contrasting colors.
