As I mentioned, a bleh day - grey skies - this was the only sign of color around. They don't last very long. This one seems to develop brown spots which detract big time from its beauty.
This is a nice shot of the blossom on the tulip magnolia tree. We have a tulip poplar tree that has yellow and orange blooms. Can't wait for it to start blooming.
@cheribug A neighbor on the street behind me has one of those with the yellow and orange - I go by at least every other day to be sure I don't miss it. Wasn't sure what it was called but sure is pretty.
Oh! This bright spot of pink looks extra lovely against the earthy tones of the background. My mother-in-law has a little tulip tree and it always seems there's only a small window of opportunity for catching a photo of the blooms.
Milanie, your compliments on my macro project have been just the sweetest, most generous things. I certainly never imagined the photos to garner such accolades; I was only taking pictures of little things from around the house, passing the time, so to speak, until the world outside my door comes to life. Your interest in each day's picture made the undertaking quite the adventure! Thank you, again, for your interest.
