Well, that's what this reminds me of - I've always called it Queen Anne's Lace, but I notice my Wildflower book refers to it as Wild Carrot. Have had a thing for the backs of flowers lately. :)
It is in the parsley family like the carrot, thus the name. I like your analogy.Your low angle and POV really make this a different kind of flower shot.
This is gorgeous, with the sun outshining the white of some of the petals while the beautiful blue sky sets them off on the other side. The Queen Anne's Lace is just blooming here so I imagine I'll be photographing one myself one of these days.
One of my very favorite flowers and this picture is awesome!! I have taken so many different shots at different times of the year. This looks different than any of mine, so I'm going to fav it!!!
