We decided to take a mini vacation to Mount Magazine Lodge (about 50 minutes away). Although the suite was gorgeous and the views from the two balconies awesome, I had to go hunt some trails. I'd been part way on this one before, but hadn't noticed the little side trails. Followed this "almost" to the edge of the bluff. What a view down below. If I hadn't been alone, I might have tried a tummy shot shooting down off that edge there. But I think you get the idea.
You're such an adventurous gal! You were rewarded with a fabulous view and a gorgeous picture. I too like the way the foreground tree wraps around and frames the valley of trees below. It seems there's no end to the autumn colors - they go on forever!
